Tracy Farnsworth, Roundtable Reviews:

RETURN OF THE GOLDEN AGE sums up the previous two books perfectly.  The writing is paced well, and the characters are appealing.

Rebecca Brown, Original Editor and Publisher of RebeccasReads:

Return of the Golden Age is filled with magical beings & places (& any resemblance to the fabled green Isle of Erin is just a figment of your imaginings), including golden rings & a mysterious cave.

Once again, Marilyn Peake has penned a winner. Dive in & meet the boys & all manner of magical things.

NOTE: Return of the Golden Age received the highest possible rating on the RebeccasReads web site, four teapots. Rebecca Brown defines a four-teapot rating as follows: "This one's a keeper! A rich, topnotch read. Feeds the mind, warms the heart, tickles the soul. Sets all my bells ringing! The kind of book I want to tell the world about. It is likely to become an Old Friend."

I truly enjoyed Marilyn Peake’s Return of the Golden Age. This final book of The Fisherman’s Son trilogy is more than engaging. Its realism and surrealism elements are genuine and breathtaking. Under the sea has been transformed into a magical place, thanks to the author’s impressive story-telling skills ... I’ve become a great fan of author Marilyn Peake and her books. Perhaps someday there will be “The Fisherman’s Son” trilogy movie, just like “The Lord of the Rings” trilogy.
